At Pickles Pets, we understand just how important those early weeks are in your puppy’s development. That’s why we offer a dedicated puppy visit service, giving your puppy the care, attention, and companionship they need while you’re busy or away from home.
During each visit, we’ll let your puppy out into the garden for regular toilet breaks, enjoy gentle playtime, and provide reassurance to help them feel safe, settled, and confident in their surroundings.
We recommend 2–3 visits per day, as young puppies need frequent interaction, toilet breaks, and companionship. However, every puppy is different, so we’re happy to tailor visits to suit your routine and your puppy’s individual needs.
Puppies aged 8–12 weeks require extra care and patience. This is a crucial stage for building confidence, introducing basic training, and providing mental stimulation through play and interaction. We always use positive, gentle handling to support your puppy’s development and wellbeing.
As your puppy grows and becomes fully vaccinated, we can begin introducing short, controlled walks and gentle socialisation with other dogs, helping them build confidence and learn good behaviours in the outside world. View our blog for more info here

Our puppy visit service ensures your puppy gets the care, attention, and regular toilet breaks they need during the day, helping them stay happy, healthy, and well-socialised.
Pet visits do not have fixed times unless required for medication and will be carried out in either the morning (A.M) or afternoon / evening (P.M).
